GRAB RAIKAN PERJALANAN YANG KE-1 BILION


Grab Inc. (“Grab”), penyedia perkhidmatan e-hailing pilihan utama di Asia Tenggara hari ini mengumumkan bahawa ia telah melengkapkan 1 bilion perjalanan di seluruh Asia Tenggara

Grab telah mencatat perjalanan 1 bilion pada 26 Oktober 2017 dengan 66 perjalanan berlaku serentak dalam satu saat di tujuh pasarannya di Asia Tenggara: Malaysia, Singapura, Indonesia, Filipina, Thailand, Vietnam dan Myanmar.

Pertumbuhan perjalanan meningkat secara memecut dalam tahun ini jelas menunjukkan bahawa pengangkutan berdasarkan kepada permintaan menawarkan potensi yang sangat besar di Asia Tenggara. Ia juga membuktikan pendekatan bersifat tempatan, multi-modal dan teknologi bertaraf dunia Grab membolehkannya mencatat permintaan yang kian meningkat ini. 

Pengasas Bersama dan Ketua Pegawai Eksekutif Grab, Anthony Tan berkata, “Pencapaian ini adalah bukti kukuh terhadap kekuatan perniagaan Grab dan pasukan pengurusan kami. Baru-baru ini, syarikat mengumumkan pelantikan Theo Vassilakis selaku Ketua Pegawai Teknologi. Pada awal tahun 2017, Grab telah menggandakan jumlah pusat R&D daripada tiga kepada enam dengan menambah pusat-pusat baharu di Bangalore, India, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam dan Jakarta, Indonesia.

Grab menawarkan servis pengangkutan kereta, motosikal, teksi dan perkongsian kenderaan di 142 buah bandar di Asia Tenggara dengan satu daripada setiap tiga orang penumpang menggunakan pelbagai perkhidmatan. Perkongsian pasaran Grab sekarang dalam perkhidmatan panggilan teksi pihak ketiga adalah sebanyak 95% dan 72% dalam panggilan kenderaan peribadi. Ia memiliki jumlah pengangkutan darat paling besar di Asia Tenggara dengan lebih 2.0 juta pemandu memperoleh pendapatan 55% lebih banyak berbanding purata bayaran gaji setiap jam dalam platformnya. Grab juga merupakan platform mudah alih paling kerap digunakan di rantau ini dengan lebih 3.5 juta perjalanan setiap hari. Manakala aplikasi Grab pula telah dimuat turun ke dalam lebih 68 juta peranti mudah alih. EZCAB INTRODUCES LUXURY AND STYLE


- Malaysian ride-hailing app confirms its latest addition to its fleet – 


Kuala Lumpur, 19 October 2017 – EzCab recently launched its latest service, EzCab (6-seater). This newest inclusion introduced Toyota Alphards and Toyota Vellfires to its fleet, will add a touch of class to its service while providing its users with a luxurious option to travel. 

“We have had several enquiries especially from travellers for a larger car, and to cater to their convenience and travelling needs, we are excited to launch EzCab (6-seater),” said Nor Aleeshah binti Abdullah, Executive Director of EzCab Sdn Bhd.

The new service will accord users with a VIP experience at a cost-effective price. EzCab’s 6-seater option is priced at a competitive rate, on-par with the market pricing of limousines in the country. To mark the launch of the service, EzCab will be offering a RM 50 discount on all rides within Klang Valley in its 6-seaters from 15th October 2017 onwards. The EzCab (6-seater) can be booked in advance (minimum 3-hours before pick-up time) for ease of mind. The fee charged is inclusive of toll charges and is available to travel nationwide.


Never resting on its laurels, EzCab also announced the coming off its 8-seater fleet sometime in December 2017. This move is to cater to the KLIA/KLIA2 airport transfers, and nationwide travel for both leisure and business. The new service will come with ‘Fixed Fare Priority Booking’ which translates to less waiting time for users. EzCab’s 8-seater fleet will be manned by commercial licensed drivers, that provides commercial insurance coverage for both drivers and passengers. The launch of the 8-seater will be accompanied by corporate rates, void of surprises such as ‘Surge Pricing’.

SPINE-CHILLING ADVENTURES AT LOST WORLD OF TAMBUN

Dare yourself to come and feast your eyes on the House Of Dolls show which is one of the main features in LWOT this year. The show’s plot revolves around Sebastian, a passionate 64-year-old doll collector who lives alone deep in the woods. One stormy night, a couple, Jack and Audrey, seeks shelter in Sebastian’s home after their car breaks down. All is well, with Sebastian playing the perfect host, until Jack begins to insult his dolls, who then come to life, refusing to allow the guests to leave. How does the story unfold and end? – Check this out yourself this October! 

It won’t be all spooky and scary as LWOT has lined up a variety of fun and games (with attractive prizes to match!) for the whole family. These include Tic Tac Toe tournaments, a fishing game, the Pumpkin Memory Challenge, a marshmallow singing challenge, a witch ring toss game and other fun games.

Of course, no Halloween celebration would be complete without good ol’ Trick or Treating and this is on the cards as well, with a lot of candies and goodies to be collected such as Pocky and Eclipse.
